Your model should now look like this. To view the results on the map click ‘Map view’

The new carbon density map layer is displayed above the base street map layer in greyscale.

Open the layer legend to see information about the range of values and resolution of the layer.

In layer settings we can adjust the fill by selecting from a predefined list.

Let’s use ‘Jet’ to make the map display the range of values in a gradient of colours instead of greyscale.

To explore the results in more detail we can use the ‘Snapshot’ tool.

The ‘Snapshot’ tool returns information about the map layer for a selected area which you can set directly on the map using the mouse or by clicking ‘Set extent’

To snapshot the whole map layer simply select ‘Use project extent’.

Once you have set the extent, the results are returned in a view window alongside the map.

To snapshot a new area simply hold the command key and select an area using the mouse.
